O The Game Awards, é um dos eventos mais tradicionais e conhecido no mundo dos games, ele elege os melhores jogos do ano em diversas categorias, é o Oscar dos games!
Foi revelado os indicados às trinta categorias de sua edição no ano de 2020, a cerimônia será transmitida ao vivo no dia 10 de dezembro às 21h no horário de Brasília.
Os grandes destaques para o prêmio dessa edição são títulos como: Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part 2 e Hades.
The Last of Us Parte da empresa Naughty Dog é o game que mais recebeu indicações, nas categorias de: Melhor Direção de Jogo, Melhor Direção de Arte e Melhor Narrativa.
